“Childhood Nostalgia” is a heartfelt painting that takes me back to the colorful memories of my youth.

Despite limited resources, my parents’ resourcefulness and the joy of comic books and retro furniture created a world of adventure and creativity.

Used comics like Beano and Archie sparked our imaginations, while our home’s gaudy furniture became the backdrop for endless fun. We transformed everyday objects into toys, and our living room had a unique, hippie-like charm.

The painting is a tribute to those cherished moments and the spirit of creativity that thrived in our humble surroundings, evoking the blissful innocence of childhood.
