Title: Windy Sunday Afternoon, 2017
This is a tiny piece I did more than a decade ago when I was crazy over the impressionism masters like Monet, Van Gogh, Pissarro, Cezanne, etc.
It was one of my very first art pieces.
My sons were still toddlers and I would bring them to a school field to fly kites on Sunday afternoons.
I tried to capture the fun and laughter in this piece, at the same time, visualizing how those masters would paint it in the 19th century.
The composition is not really the best but at that time, I had no inkling on how to compose anything at all.
It was just for fun..
